Michael is an Architectural Designer at Ryall Sheridan Caroll Architects in New York City, specializing in high-end Passive House residential projects, particularly in the Hamptons and upstate New York. A graduate of The Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), Michael also pursued interdisciplinary studies at Brown University, focusing on Persuasive Communication, Sustainable Investment, and Entrepreneurial Studies. This blend of design and business knowledge shapes his forward-thinking, sustainable architectural approach.

Michael has continuously crafted narratives and created plausible stories that convinced audiences how and why his propositions are viable. Michael has various skills including, Adobe CC, Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, 2D drafting, Twinmotion, V-Ray, Gravity Sktch, Unity, SketchUp, Climate Studio, and photosphere.

While at RISD, Michael demonstrated leadership by securing $25,000 to start the first-ever TEDxRISD event, which has since accumulated 50,000 views on YouTube. Additionally, he started RISD’s first student-led podcast series called, ‘rizdeology’ to help bring together the RIS Dcommunity during the COVID-19 Pandemic - notable guests included Michael Maltzan, Deborah Berke, and Nader Tehrani.

Outside of his creative practice, Michael co-founded ‘Surplus’ - a digital map based network of surplus building materials for contactors with Aanya Arora. He was recently a global finalist in the Terra Carta Competition started by HM King Charles II and Sir Johnny Ives of Apple. Additionally, he has completed his AXP NCARB hours and is working towards architectural licensure.
